We will relocate our shop in Buckhead to a more updated, more spacious location directly across the street from our current location. I know our customers will appreciate the easier access and great parking. (I believe I hear cheering!!) We will close Memorial Day Weekend (May 25, 26 and 27) and reopen in our new location Tuesday May 28. The address is 3137 East Shadowlawn Avenue and is literally right across the street. We will have our much anticipated “Bling Room” along with new threads and canvases.

We have so many great trunk shows at the shop in Atlanta NOW–come and see Painted Pony, Raymond Crawford, & Trubey until April 1st. After that Ewe & Eye will be arriving at the shop followed by CBK in May! We are thrilled to have such talented artists showcased in our shop. So much has changed in the past few weeks that we wanted to keep our customers updated with. First and foremost we had a great Tony Mineri class that kicked off the New Year right! Tony will be back to In Stitches March 21-24 for an impromptu Back to Basics class! As the class nears its capacity, you can secure your spot online at our website, www.institchesatlanta.com, under the 2013 Classes page.

Additionally we had another surprise, Jeanene Weiner–a seasoned stitcher–is the new proud owner of In Stitches. Many have asked if Bam will still be at the shop and the answer is yes! We are so excited to see what 2013 brings in this great new relationship and cannot wait to share it with all of you!

This discount is applicable towards all purchases with the exception of classes, books, finishing, and previously placed special orders. In Honor of Rick Coleman

Good evening stitching friends,

In Stitches will be closed this Thursday to honor the life of Bam’s husband, Mr. Rick Coleman, who passed away early this morning. We will also be closed Wednesday evening at 5PM, with the exception of the Living Social class. It is with great sadness that we bring this update to you but know that many of you have provided your love and support over the past years to Bam, Kelly and Lee, which they have all greatly appreciated.

A visitation will be held Wednesday evening at the H.M. Patterson & Son Funeral Home at Oglethorpe followed by the celebration of Ricky’s life on Thursday at 12:30pm at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Buckhead. For those who are interested, Ricky’s obituary can be found by clicking here.

We are all especially grateful for your thoughts and prayers throughout this difficult time.
